When this blog was started it was a place for me to write about the things I enjoyed. I did not, however, get into writing about World of Warcraft related things until I’d become level 80 and knew a bit more about the game and what I was doing with it.
As WoW seems to be a popular topic for people to share information and suchlike, I do blog, periodically, about WoW and the game lends itself well to different characters and their ‘profiles’, so here are mine… Note: Gear is not current as tiers are being introduced so quickly now, but face and hair is.
At the moment I’ve got five level 80 characters on the Darkspear EU PvE realm:

Shadowpaws, or Paws as he’s known to everyone, is my Restoration Druid and current main character. I have always loved Druids, their versatility and shapeshifting abilities, since I first knew about them. At the time I was levelling Geebs (see below) and wanted to carry on with him. When Geebs was 80, I had a character clean up and rolled Paws. Levelling with a friend’s Paladin (thanks, Blue!) we powerlevelled up to 80 and from level 30 I was Resto as When was Ret, then Prot when we hit 60. I practiced my spec all the way to 80 and got completely hooked on healing (with thanks to my friend Onied!). Paws’s offspec is Feral (so I’ve got some paws for ‘paws) but I’m main spec healer for end-game raiding and also PvP/Arena.

Geebs is my first ever WoW character. I started him (as Halcyongeebs – Geebs wasn’t available at the time) on a 10-day free trial after a friend (thanks for getting me hooked on WoW, Kate! =P) introduced me to the game. As soon as I knew you could have a class with pets, cats especially, I was there. Night Elf Hunter (at the time I didn’t have Burning Crusade so no knowledge of Draenei or Blood Elves…that’s my excuse for Nass on why I didn’t roll Belf anyway!) was my class and that’s where I was going to stick.
Geebs was my main for the majority of my WoW play-time and it was only recently, after the crucifying Beast Mastery Hunters got from Blizz, that I got frustrated with being a BM Hunter (my real love) and spent my time on Paws. Nass injected a bit more fun into my Hunting when Dual Spec came along and I specced Marksman as off-spec to try and have some fun again. Unfortunately, I missed Enigma. The lack of damage the cat and Geebs were putting out meant he wasn’t a viable end-game player, not least when you considered Paws was out-DPSing him.
Stormtide is my Restoration Shaman and my most recent level 80. I had had a love/hate relationship with Shamans since I first played the Burning Crusade expansion pack. I think I’ve had at least 8 Shamans over the years but Blue kept telling me to try one. I usually got them to about level 20 and got fed up but after Blue’s persistence I decided to stick it out and really give it a fair chance. His point was “go Enhancement for levelling and once you get to 60 they come alive.” He was not wrong. As soon as I had my Ghost Wolves at level 60 it was an absolute breeze to level and really enjoyable. So much so that with all the Cataclysm changes we’re seeing, I’m contemplating making her my main when Cataclysm comes. But we’ll see. She’s my only female character because I can’t stand the male Draenei looks, and let’s face it, the females do look far better. Blog post about Stormtide.
Paladins are a class I hadn’t been particularly interested in playing until I levelled Paws with When. Rounding up big groups of mobs and bashing them down seemed like a giggle. I levelled him up to Northrend as Ret then switched to Prot as there was a shield I loved when I first went through Howling Fjord. It was that simple. He’s 80 now and still Prot. There’s not much need for a mildly geared tank but most of his use comes from 450 Mining and Jewelcrafting. With Paws having 450 Alchemy it means I can make gems for all my characters from simple mats with transmutes and then cutting.
The only class I had never played was Warlock. When <Ferocity> were progressing through Naxxramas and Ulduar I was always impressed with Reinar’s DPS and ‘locks were the only casters which really appealed – Hunter in a dress?
I have him kitted out in full heirloom gear and he’s currently sitting around level 48 at the time of writing (Dec 2009). I’ve been mainly concentrating on levelling his professions. Which was quite amusing as since about level 30ish he’s been sorted in Tailoring and Enchanting up to about level 60. Because I have all these other characters I’ve managed to save up a lot of cloth so as soon as I can train in the main profession levels I do it all. UPDATE: He’s level 80 now with almost full Enchanting and Tailoring.
Geebs has been (mostly) retired and spends his days fishing, cooking and doing dailies to fuel Paws’ raiding habit. Although, I’ve started to play him a bit more now I’ve found a viable Beast Mastery build that can still cut it in a world of Survivalist and Marksman hunters.
So there you have it. Those are my main WoW characters, Stormtide, Aesirius and Psyphon reside in the guild <Ferocity> with Geebs and Paws in <Lords of Light>.

Nice pics, and well written, allthough id like to hear more about this mighty palladin, if for example he has a hunter also?
What he has failed to mention is that he is also a conscript of the Boon Army!
…Although i havent called him to service yet, i will….someday. >=)
