About GBYphotography.com
GBYphotography.com was somewhere I wanted to put my favourite pieces of work, alongside my more mainstream gallery at DeviantArt and more recently, Flickr.
You can purchase selected prints from the site in many print sizes, from 7″x5″ up to A3. For more info and to buy prints, please visit my online print shop or my ImageKind Shop for more framing and print options. This is a work in progress at the moment as I’m terribly picky with which pictures I want to sell and need to update my sites really.
About The Photography
I’ve always been fond of nature and wildlife but never really thought of taking pictures of things myself; my parents always did this whenever we were on holiday.
I’d been taking random happy snaps of outings in my Land Rover for a while and was starting to get into the habit of snapping everything I thought I’d especially like to remember. In 2004 I decided to get myself a point-and-shoot digital camera – after becoming tired of spending lots of money in Boots getting photos developed – so I could have a record of things and not have hundreds of 7x5s filling up a drawer somewhere.
Now armed with a DSLR, I love nothing more to be out taking pictures of the things I love, whether that be nature, animals, cars or any of my many other hobbies.
I would like to expand my genres with Equestrian photography and Portraiture before too long, so I’m able to be an all-round photographer. Whatever I decide, I’ll still be taking pictures of something.
