I can’t be the only one who says “I’m never doing that again!” and then does the same thing again. And I’m not talking about the things that aren’t good for you, more the things that are terribly arduous, but kind of rewarding at the end.
I said it after I finished getting Shadowpaws to 80. Then I said it again after getting Aesirius to 80…I was adament that time! /pause for effect Psyphon, my Warlock is currently sitting at level 79.
Why? Why do we do it? Cataclysm comes out sometime this year so the level cap will be raised to 85. That means I’ll have FOUR characters to get up to 85. The bad thing about all of this is that with Cataclysm comes completely changed quests and areas from levels 1-60. Which means I’m going to want to go back and see what they’re like. ANOTHER character!?
I don’t really have any other classes I want to play. Mage maybe? After getting four toons to 85 I’m probably not going to want to do any more questing. Ever. (See what I’ve done there?!)
I do enjoy the levelling process, I like reading about the quests and reading all the little stories you partake in while levelling up. I like levels 1-30, from 30-52 it gets a bit annoying; it’s long, frustrating and slow. Then 52-68 is a breeze, especially through Outland, and 68-80 is nice and fun in Northrend.
What do you often do that you said you wouldn’t do again?
