Some of you may already know about the Bowler Wildcat, either through its successes at the Dakar, Top Gear’s “driving God” clip, the Goodwood Festival of Speed etc but those of you who don’t, the Wildcat is a seriously intense rally car based loosely on a Land Rover Defender. When I say rally, I mean the toughest rallies out there; Hill Rallies, Baja and Dakar…those are the Wildcat’s domain!
Since its inception, the Wildcat has been built by the family-run company, Bowler Off-Road. However, the sale of the manufacturing rights to QT Services now allows them to concentrate on the production of the new Nemesis – based loosely on the Range Rover Sport. As of 2008 QT Services, a company well renowned in Land Rover circles for producing quality off-road goodies, will undertake the production of the Wildcat 200 with a comprehensive spares and support package for all current Wildcat owners, allowing their racing success to continue long into the future…I hope.
21 Wildcats will be on the start line of Dakar 2008 alongside 9 Bowler Nemeses…and with 14 of the 109 finishers driving Bowlers at the 2007 Dakar, 2008 looks to be a promising year for both Bowler and QT Services.

my opinion maybe sounds weird, but why do you all write so serious comments? I mean, do you REALLY think it’s true? Why? What makes you think so? Please share your opinion.
I’m not entirely sure to which part you are referring but the sale of the manufacturing rights is entirely true. The Dakar, sadly, was cancelled but at the time of posting those figures were true too
I heard that he that he wanted do a Coronation Street cameo! lmao. Not sure how true this is, has anyone else heard it? There’s a part of me that kind of wishes this is not true lol.
